Wisconsin's Inaugural Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Run for Awareness
We are proud to announce that the owner of Side Effect Support LLC is taking an active role in organizing Wisconsin's Inaugural Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Run for Awareness at the Waukesha County Technical College in Pewaukee, Wisconsin on October 17, 2015. This family-friendly FUNdraising event will take place rain or shine and will include free oral cancer screenings, music, speakers and much more!
The Oral Cancer Foundation is an national non-profit organization that is designed to reduce suffering and save lives through prevention, education, research, advocacy and support activities. Oral cancers are increasing at an alarming rate. This year alone, 43,250 new cases will be diagnosed in the U.S. and only slightly more than half will still be alive within the next 5 years. The time to act is now!
