About the Mouth Cancer Foundation

The Mouth Cancer Foundation is a charity dedicated to raising awareness and support for those suffering from or at risk of mouth cancer, throat cancer and other head and neck cancers, as well as providing assistance and information on living with mouth cancer for families, friends and carers.

The charity also specialises in teaching medical professionals to carry out thorough head and neck cancer checks at annual routine appointments.

The promotion, protection and education of good health is key to raising awareness of mouth cancer. The charity aims to inform the public about the signs, symptoms, facts and figures and key causes of mouth cancer. Know what increases your risk of getting the disease by accessing our information on HPV, alcohol and smoking.

Supporting patients and their families is also at the heart of what the charity does. We are the go-to organisation for any patient at risk of losing their voice as a result of surgery or treatment through our saving voices grant. The Foundation also offers patient and carer support through in-person meetings, telephone, online support groups and its digital channels.
